With the move from Red Bank to an office in HESChattanooga, has also come more visibility for 4 Paws Pantry. Since more needy have access to the Pantry, the numbers for 2016, have increased.
In 2016, 150,000 meals were provided to help pets of struggling pet owners, assisting 90 families, while over 400 pets were able to stay with their families. Also in 2016, 4 Paws Pantry was able to assist with the cost to spay and neuter, which allowed some struggling families to receive food donations for their pets. Over 9,500 pounds of dry food was given out. 4 Paws Pantry relies on donations of food and/or money to assist needy families.
This fall 4 Paws Pantry even received a call from the Hamilton County Emergency Service to assist 60 chickens, 2 quail, and 1 rabbit, that had to be relocated due to the wildfires on Mowbray Mountain.
